PCB for the adaptor board pair for the Touchscreen Digital Preamp project in the September 2022 issues of PE.
This preamp has the best of both worlds: the benefits of digital control, such as an intuitive touchscreen interface, presets and remote control, along with the low noise and distortion of an analogue design. It does this by using classic Baxandall-style volume and tone control circuitry with op amps, using high-quality digital potentiometers to provide the adjustments.
